Blue Cornmeal Honey Nut Cake

Ingredients:
The Cake:
1 cup Cornmeal, Blue (Medium Grind)
1 cup White Flour, Unbleached
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Milk
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
The Glaze:
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Honey
2 cups chopped Walnuts-Baker's Pieces
1 Egg White

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 10" spring pan, set aside.

Mix all dry ingredients together. Cut in butter as for biscuits and then add milk, egg and vanilla. Stir well. Pour into prepared pan and immediately put into the freezer while preparing the glaze.

In a medium sauce pan melt the butter and honey together. When the butter and honey are well blended and cooled slightly, add the egg white and mix well. Add nuts and mix. Remove cake from the freezer, cover it with glaze. Bake 20-30 minutes.
